Canceled - CAI Engaging Citizenship Luncheon
The March 7 luncheon has been canceled. Please join us on April 4.
The Center for American Institutions Arizona State University is committed to civic education for students and the larger community.
The mission of the CAI Engaging Citizenship Luncheons is to provide a deeper understanding of critical political and cultural issues confronting our nation. These meetings provide an opportunity for attendees from the community to deepen their understanding of issues including free speech, elections, constitutional rights, education, biotechnology and religious freedom.
Luncheons are designed for active attendee engagement with topic introductions by an ASU faculty member and/or subject matter expert, small group discussions, presentation of discussion outcomes and general discussion.
Topics for spring 2023 include:
Mar. 7: "The Future of Humanity and Biotechnology" ft. William B. Hurlbut, MD, senior research scholar in neurobiology, Stanford Medical School
Apr. 4: "School Choice Under Attack" ft. Erik Twist, principal partner and president, Arcadia Education
