The Communications Core supports Edson College faculty and staff in disseminating their scholarship, from its inception to its submission, using a variety of tools. A grant writing resource specialist/editor, who leads this core, assists through editing, proofreading, researching, and advising on an approach to application questions, manuscripts, presentations, reports, or other material. Workshops facilitated by this core offer advice on a range of writing topics. This core also produces the RISE Wire, an electronic newsletter that keeps faculty and staff informed of upcoming funding opportunities, health news, and pertinent events. With a faculty colleague in Academic Innovation, the editor facilitates faculty writing groups and periodic workshops of a variety of grant- and manuscript-related writing topics.
